Paid HUGE architect bill

Went to the architect's office to pay the bill. It was about $2,000 more than anticipated, but in the end, the design looks really good. And also taking in to consideration that most of the paper work with the City has worked smoothly thanks to a well prepared package, I guess it is a price you just have to pay.

However, I asked his admin to have him call me back once he got back to the office. He needs to review one of the beams in the basement. It had "grown" in size between the set of drawings I got handed to me, and the ones that were "final". I was told there were no changes, but this beam will not fit under the heating duct so it needs to be made lower but wider.
